They always seemed to have two kinds of poison, one dealing pretty crazy amounts of damage, think I've seen ticks of 50+.
If at first try it doesn't explode, it ain't Jack who wrote the code.

Re: SOTW 0.8.24.17 - Second Act Beta!
I guess i'll consider myself lucky with just 33, then.
I did have harder time than usual finding poison res gear in Ninim before I started this Dingirra tour. So usually Vaelis' poison res is higher than it was in that fight during the invitations quest. I guess I gotta go shopping for those fixed items now.
By the way, the Kiduu bowWomen use poison dagger, which inflicted 6HP DoT in the same fight on Riley, whose poison resistance was less than Vaelis (17% vs 27%).
And I did feel the new speed penalties on Hunter during act 1. I think it was a good decision not to raise the SP cost as well. Coupled with some bad luck in the Ninim shops, that was the most nightmarish act 1 I've experienced since build 0.7.something...
'
EDIT: Plus the fact that the character skipping upon equipping appears now all over the shops as well is rather...infuriating. It's in fact easier to deal with the random dmg prediction slots, because that doesn't require any extra clicking around, one just needs to pay attention a bit more during the fights.. I thought for a while that this bug was triggered by doubleclicking, but it has since appeared without doubleclicking as well and also for enemies that are not in the middle front row slot. At the funniest it is when it throws Vaelis' leap attack dmg prediction on a random front row slot (no guard in effect) or on random enemies when planning for a full row-front swipe.
EDIT2: Since I got Riley in my team, the character equipping skip-bug now wants me to choose and dress-up Riley all the time... Starting to think this game is alluding that I have some sort of obsession on the guy... Oh I never... XD

Yes I fixed the autoequipping bug, I wanted to wait to fix also the other one. I mean I fixed it by not showing the prediction on an empty character slot the easy (hack) way, but I'm also going to send the game to Ren'Py coder since I'm sure 100% that is a Ren'Py bug this time
I guess I can upload an updated version later today with this temporary fix.

I've done another small update to fix the "autoinventory" and the wrong prediction bugs. Hoping I don't have to update again before ACT3 is done

Is the DOS window supposed to be running permanently? It opens when I open the game and I can't close it without closing the game together with it.

ARGH, the console is to debug, I thought that the option wouldn't be visible in the public build but apparently was wrong
I'll wait before changing this since Ren'Py coder is looking at the damage prediction bug this weekend, so hopefully will fix it. You'll have to play with that other window during this version, sorry

Re: SOTW 0.8.24.18 - Second Act Beta!
I don't mind waiting some time for the next version. The dmg prediction still is sometimes shown on a wrong slot, yeah, but that's not something that needs to be fixed, ASAP anyway, imho. The equipment bug seems to be gone, so this is playable until Act 3 comes out for all I care (unless there's a crash bug somewhere we just haven't run into yet...) .
Now the question is...once the Ren'Py coder has taken a look into it, shall the saves go borked again?

I really hope not!!! it shouldn't be related to saves anyway. Maybe saves in middle of a battle, but outside, I'm 99.999% sure not. I mean wouldn't make sense, since I think the bug will just be some small fix, so not something that needs creating new variables or classes or anythingfabulaparva wrote: Now the question is...once the Ren'Py coder has taken a look into it, shall the saves go borked again?
