Yeah I just ran some tests, the damage has been obscene. Apart from the damage, it can also be used with a twohander, where it predicts a damage amount but does half of it (because it only performs one attack, I imagine). Shouldn't it be restricted to dual wield?
Anyway if you nerf it down to match the tooltip description it's gonna suck so much.

First bombs now this.
(Make it weaker if you have to, but don't make it that much slower, pretty please!)
(Note to self: Seriously, if you find yet another awesome skill, don't tell!!! Be a scoundrel, steal some pelts.)

Are you using a Mace-type two hander? I think that could be the issue of the bug.

Well permanently lower enemy HP by 15% is not too bad I think (once you get to act 3 when enemies actually start healing themselves for good!).
Okay I won't increase the delay then

No, the default starting weapon for a ranger
Perhaps it could be useful in act 3 indeed, but before that it's paying 25 SP for a guaranteed crit. If you've managed to stagger the target. Not exciting. Sure the health reduction is probably worth some of those SP, but consider that it's a dedication to dual wielding and giving up Sweeping Strike and it feels like a bad deal.

Hmm I could do this then... say 10% HP reduction but available on bosses too

if I would be in your position I would wait until Act 3 before you change this skill - even if it's for us (only act1&1 available) not a cool skill this could change in the next acts. If it's still a stupid skill we will inform you :D

With that delay? Poor boss
Would it be possible to have a "Mortal Strike effect"? WoW term for healing received reduction. That too is a counter to healers after all. Like Cross Cut causes the target to receive 50% less healing for 3 turns or whatever.

Well sure if you mean he first changes it to match the tooltip at least. The current damage is insane

I think will wait to get some saves with a super crosscut ranger then and see with act3 enemies indeed

I thought dualwield+dualhit of the skill is a bug and will be changed? What I meant was changing the general skill definition (different delay, different damage, ...)
