Yes because dualwield+dualhit in practice means x4 damage (2+2). Instead should be just 2 :lol: so I'll change only that but keep the same skill description.
Actually if you could send me that save with that super crosscut ranger would be the best so I know what is causing that crazy damage value :)

Are you saying Cross Cut is supposed to do more damage than a normal hit that crits? Because the way I read the description, it makes me think: Critically hits the target and reduces its max health. Requires two weapons.

If it's supposed to deal 200% damage (+ the crit), it's probably a better boss ability than Sweeping Strike, whether the HP reduction works or not, unless you badly want that pushback of course :)

Sometimes in the description I used "critically" wrong, to say like "does a lot of damage" :mrgreen:
Indeed currently does 250% base damage :) so that's why is also owerpowered! I need to update the description and probably put it to 200% base damage or something...

You should really change all those tooltips. When I read those I think, I'm gonna get 25% bonus damage because it's gonna automatically crit. The tooltips should not be subject to interpretation. I've been rating Cross Cut under the assumption it does 125% damage all this time.

200% still sounds like I'm gonna try a CC ranger. It's pretty nice actually that Cross Cut and Sweeping Strike, while rather mutually exclusive, each offer their own approach to a healing heavy team. Cross Cut is like, you try healing someone who gets instakilled from "full" health m8! And Sweeping Strike is like, look Mr. Healer... I would appreciate it if you'd come to the front row so we could have a civilized discussion about what you're doing.

If it's 200% I don't think you'll need to worry about buffing it vs. bosses. I guess the only real problem the skill has had is the tooltip :P

Whatever the actual damage, I still hope that the delay won't get worse. Sweeping strike has a delay of 09, Invincible 08. Using a two-handed weapon or a shield is expected to be slower than using two swords, so....

Yes I'll check all the skills to make sure the "critically" word is used properly now!

I think is fine because you need to stagger - I tried using it against a Lich Lord boss in Act3 and was never able to stagger that boss :) I'm sure it's because I'm not a superplayer, but still the stagger requirement for some enemies might be enough to balance the skill power.

Yeah I actually think stagger is a mess. For example, my druid gets hit by the back row damage of one Strike Through and is staggered for six turns. Meanwhile, there are some bosses that feel like I couldn't stagger them even if I took them to 1 HP with one single blow. But I'm winning so why buff me :)

Some I made them tough on purpose :) could be even too much though, so I should check the values indeed.

Well like I said. Maybe it's "wrong" but if I'm beating everything why nerf enemies :)

Anyway... Cross Cut is still working just fine with a twohander (assuming that's what my ranger has in the first orc fight). Also it has the same cost and the description still says it doesn't work on bosses. Not that I think it needs to be more expensive at least - a 25 SP skill with 6 delay will eat your mana fast.

Speaking of stagger: Chalassa's Bleeding Strike cause bonus stagger to bosses, correct? It's just the bleed part that doesn't work on them?

Ah probably changed the text after I began the build :)
I am not sure why is still available if you use a two hand weapon, will need to ask Anima.
Yes the stagger is the same for boss/non boss enemies.
