Initially I thought about an "all res" with maybe 15-20% HP, but I thought could become too much powerful

I'm terribly sorry that I proposed an atmospheric change without increasing the deadliness of your party :P

For atmosphere we should have lore text on the skills too

I would love more lore, select something, press "L"* and if text is available a msgbox opens.
*) oh, you're using a pad? no problem - as soon as the accelerometer measures metal-bending G-forces the lore screen is opened. just smash your device on the desk

Used v0.8.24.6 to test Jariel's Resurrection skill:
- Resurrect a previously buffed character: Character is resurrected with the buffs gone. No one else in the party is affected. So basically same thing as using a potion!
- Cast resurrect on a live character with other active song buff (tested with VS or Rhythm of Restoration). The buff will disappear on this character but not from anyone else.
- Cast resurrect on a live character with other active song buff AND Vaelis' Rally: BOTH of the buffs will disappear on the character. No affect on anyone else. If the said character is buffed with Energize, that will stay.
-It is also possible to accidentally cast Song Of Purity on a dead character- This is confusing as long as those two skills have the same icon.
Is any of the above behaviour wrong or is any of it okay? I don't even...

Nevermind this but..... Another skill that can be cast upon oneself: Krimm can cast Protect on herself if she's in the backrow.

I got beaten by a girl???
No mercy in act 3! Beat it the first run, own it the second. Potions will be used.
She can protect other back row targets too, while being in the back row. Guard doesn't have these bugs. I'm guessing you can copy paste your way to victory here.

That particular limitation of the Guard skill is hardcoded into the skill selection code. So it just needs to be added there.
