Maybe we could rename one of the HPR rings? Felicity for the +1 one and only the +2 edition Euphoria?

And while I like the v0.8 armour the name should be either changed or the description also more meta.

Leather Armour v0.8 A sturdy protecting piece of equipment, never balanced in beta. It's just a leather armour, okay?

Hehe, I like that as well. I'll edit it in in the next version.

Also, I can scratch the Necklace-prefix off of Moon Mirror in the next edit.

Can't remember if the name of the earrings was actually mentioned in the next. If it wasn't then correcting that name just for the inventory could be done while we're at this, anyway. :P

If we want a different lore-concept for the lesser HPR ring, my Lizardblood Talisman necklace never got added, so we could rewrite that.

protecting -> protective for that leather armor though

Also are we using American or British English? I seem to be losing 2-1 here, but Jack could overrule!

Sure, could also add that little bit of water res in the stats, it shouldn't throw the balance too off. (Until we'll get to test it, anyway :P)


EDIT: I think most of the game at least is in US English (I mean armor >> armour) All BR English additions in that fixed item list are my fault. I can correct what I can find. :P

I think the description is valid for both names (euphoria and felicity) - but yayswords fired me as his editor and I'm not allowed anymore to touch any of his texts ^^


completely out of scope, but I would like to see this weapon:

Metal club (two-handed impact weapon)
dmg 45
speed -6
HPR -1
SPR -1
item-specific rules:
- target is poisoned for up to 4 turns
- when both attacker and target use this weapon both are burning for up to 3 turns and all characters on the battle field are poisoned for up to 2 turns
A curious giant club, made of a dense and slightly warm metal. The material was found in an ancient tomb, decorated with sun symbols.

It's valid for either of them, but not both of them.

That weapon though, if we can actually have on-hit effects I'll be shocked they haven't been used yet. More likely though they require +1 to the hackcounter.

The engine supports that in theory, but I'M NOT GOING to add this. I fear I won't be able to finish the game before end of year already :mrgreen:

For Those tired of downloading, here's a list of changes:
-Suggested grammar edits done. Also changed all British English "our"s to US English "or"s where I could find them: rumour => rumor, favour => favor, armour => armor
-Assassin's armor v0.8 is now Leather Armor v0.8 with renke's description. Added +1 more defense to both versions. It would have been fun to throw it completely off balance, but yeah, game out sooner than later, please, and we need to finish this "side-project" soon. :P
+1HPR ring is now Lizardblood Talisman with yayswords' description (didn't edit) + 25 Water resistance
- Both fixed necklaces renamed back to Mana Channel No 2 & 4 with identical descr.
- Name "Necklace Moon Mirror" is now just "Moon Mirror" Added simple description: "Worth every risk."

Did not touch the name of the earrings. As far as I saw, the name is not mentioned in the actual story dialogue, but I obviously only know about act 2, plus, even if cumbersome, it's not actually an "impossible name", is it? So I left it as it is for now.

Is this ready to be implemented or does anyone want to add something at this point? (eg those legend-item texts?) It would be nice to wrap this up soon.
