I propose the following descriptions for the end of act 2 rewards. These are significant items so both big (the whole idea sucks) and small (let's use a synonym) nitpicks are welcome.

Band of Bloodspeed (edited as per fabulaparva's suggestion)
While the latent item is a valuable artifact in its own right, its true power is realized only when the Blood Pact is made. Many mortals have been tempted into doing so, and none of them became long-lived. A popular rumor suggests that those of demonic heritage have an easier time resisting the dark whispers encircling the band, urging its wearer to make the pact. You would not even dream of asking Chalassa's opinion on that rumor.

The Grey-Sword
The weapon wielded by a long, unbroken line of Stalking Sabertooth chieftains has rightfully ended up in Krimm's hands. With each swing, it sings the song of the strength and courage of its previous owners, challenging her to surpass their deeds and inspire a better song. And she has every intent to. You know it.

Moon Mirror
Also known as the Pendant of Vivid Grief, the legend holds that this necklace was a memento given from a deathbound woman to her sister. When they were young, they would always stay up late to admire the moon and the stars. The surviving sister would continue this tradition, now with the necklace keeping her company. So great was her grief that she willed her lost sister's image to appear in the pendant, and they would watch the night sky together until death reunited them. The necklace, when exposed to moonlight, can now conjure forth a vivid image of the owner's choosing.

An inscription on the chain reads:

Mirror, mirror of the moon
I beg of you to grant this boon
Be my loved sister's guide
Lead her spirit to my side

The night is lonely, cold and dark
Return my sister, moonlight spark
Make my midnight bright as noon
Mirror, mirror of the moon

They look great to me, if nobody has any objections will put them into the game :)
I'll probably need similar stuff also for the various "Epic weapons/items" in ACT3, but no hurry.

Et voilà

I added the scrollable text in the Lore window. Also discovered that already equipped items wouldn't update their values when you reloaded the game (at least the descriptions), so fixed that bug as well :mrgreen:

I would like some weapon with the lore "<some description of the resulting painful wounds> Soon, the survivors shall envy the dead."

I like your poem quite a bit. :) Since jack already added it, I assume that the story does not clash with Riley & Moon Mirror-canon, either.

Greysword description is fine as it is, imho.

And this is a total nitpick, and naturally a matter of opinion, but part of Band of Bloodspeed-description seems a bit cumbersome/passive ("heard by the user") to me. Maybe that part could be streamlined somehow? I don't have any better suggestion than this, I'm afraid:
".... A popular rumor suggests that those of demonic heritage have an easier time resisting the dark whispers encircling the band, urging its wearer to make the pact."

@renke_
Do you read SMBC? :D

@fabulaparva
I agree, that's a much better wording. As for the Moon Mirror I think it's actually for Taleweaver to judge. I didn't try much to make it fit with Riley, I was mostly inspired by the name. But I don't think it's unreasonable he could secretly be missing someone dearly.

Also... I'm guessing the act 3 epix are up for grabs? Is every character getting one? We could babble about names/lore/"stat theme". For druid I was thinking:

Staff: Force of Nature, high damage - above all, high damage.
Focus: Spirit of Ninim, high regen, though I'm afraid no amount of cuteness or regen could make me want an 8 damage weapon if it's gonna remain a weapon. I actually don't think the slot is important as I imagine this spirit frolicking blissfully around the druid and not sitting in their hands, on their shoulder etc. And by high regen I mean think of an SPR amount that feels pretty awesome (I would say 5). Give it that, and give it 4 times as much HPR.
If at first try it doesn't explode, it ain't Jack who wrote the code.

I haven't finished adding them to the DB, but tomorrow will upload an updated .ods . As for the name/history you can already suggest stuff, since are those I listed before.
Note that only Althea, Shea and Vaelis get the "epic item", since the others have already got it in their background stories (Grey-sword, Moon Mirror, etc). At the moment there isn't one for Rowinda though, so might find a way to put something for her too.
