I haven't done Rowinda's personal quest yet, but during the first play through, it felt as if this Act is in general too easy on NM. It's quite the contrast to Acts 1 and 2, where I was really struggling with my Hunter/Ranger-build. That's why I don't think that the skills and attributes need more tweaking...if those would be nerfed even more for the core team, I'm afraid that it might turn the beginning of the game impossible. Maybe the enemies in Act 3 could be buffed up a bit? For example:
Is it on purpose that even in NM-difficulty, during the Pride of Lukoss-quest:

You get only 2 enemies when you open the captain's cabin and the crew area?
I think opening those in NM should give more enemies to squish.
Also, the crew gets a (partial) heal during the Merrow's Men quest. I don't think that in addition to that, they should be offered an optional full-heal in NM. It's doable with only the partial heal.

Sort of a Bug:
In the Bathhouse, if you max out the friendship stars for Althea&Riley (4/5), then the talk to Riley option will disappear as it should, but the same thing doesn't happen upon completing Vaelis' quest. The option to talk to Vaelis will remain on screen, but if you click it, the game will just throw you out on the streets and the opportunity to talk to someone else is gone (eg the heart disappears from Rowinda's house)

Another bug:
When you are talking to Myrkhan and trying to figure out the appropriate compensation to pay him, the options given to me were:
a)"1000 gold"
b)"5000 gold"
c)"More than half of our money (2696 gold)"
d)"Less than half of our money (3295 gold)"
The numbers seem to have swapped in options c) and d).

yayswords already pointed out the Selective Sunlight after Vaelis' quest. That's corrected now, but completing this quest also includes showing me most of the team members in their winterclothing (Vaelis, Shea, Althea, Riley, Jariel, Chalassa) when they go to the Drunken Rat after Vaelis' quest. Nice sneak Preview,since I don't think Riley's coat's been shown anywhere previously! :P I just checked my save with version 0.8.24.25 and they still have those clothes. They keep those on during the following boat trip, too, even when preparing for a swim....until they finally disappear upon arriving in a certain island where they had to use telescope and stuff. :P


+Misc/Random comments:
-Vaelis' personal quest is my favourite so far. Rowinda's quest has quite the challenge to be able to top that. :)
-Lianara had quite the wicked smile. I like it. :P
-Krimm's verifiably crazy :shock:

I can totally relate to the "F you"-gesture she did by leaving her tribe after losing the wrestling match but all the stuff after that... overkill much, Krimm? :P

No of course I'm not going to touch the skills! I only reduced the DoT, because in general they were doing too much damage (both for you, and for the enemies).
I'm simply going to make the enemies tougher. I admit when I played with your party, I had the impression it was too easy too, that's why I asked feedback :)
And yes, some encounters randomization is off - just 2 enemies shouldn't be normal in NM mode :lol:

Uhm I checked and I see only a heal for 75% in that quest, so only a partial heal, not a full heal ?

Yes that shouldn't happen ! fixed (also for Rowinda).

Ahah the winter clothing! yes it was an involuntary sneak preview :mrgreen:

Vaelis quest was my favorite for the backstory, while Rowinda's was for the laughs :lol:

With the Full Heal I meant...the crew has 3 days on the islands according to the counter. While the crew is going through the woods, instead of clicking the next RED arrow, you can click the GREEN arrow on the prison camp and that will give them an actual full heal at the cost of one day.

I think on NM difficulty you shouldn't have this option. I've done the quest once with only the partial heal before entering the camp, and it's doable. Having the Full heal in addition to that made it ridiculously easy. Of course, if you make the enemies (meaning the spiders and the snakes) much harder, then I might change my mind. :P


EDIT: For example, leave the Full heal option there and put in more than 3 snakes/spiders per encounter for NM. :P Unless that gives too much XP, of course. Ah, sweet grinding...

Ah yes I forgot about that one :) yes I'll first make ALL the act3 enemies stronger, then when you replay you can tell me, I can disable the option for Nightmare mode.

Not sure if this one was reported before, but Jariel's Rhythm of Restoration and Rhythm of Speed both kill Vaelis' Rally whereas Vigorous Sonata doesn't.

I went to the Drunken Rat and spoke to the barkeeper about Nutty Nutt's riddle.
He wanted 2950 gold for it. The game prompted me that "Unfortunately, you don't have 2950..." But I got the paper anyway and the dialogue continues as if I bought it. The quest starts up as well.... and I have all the money I had when I set my foot in there! So basically I got it for free!! :P

Ah, but you had the money asked with you or not ?
edit: nevermind, is because I changed it to a fixed amount after yaysword complaints of asking a % of player's total money (which were fair by the way). I need to make it in a different way :)

For the record, I didn't have enough money, had 547 on first try and 190-something when I reproduced it.


Couple more bugs:
-At the end of Rowinda's quest :lol: , Staggered tooltip gets stuck on the screen and I can't get rid of it. It remains floating on the city map.

+I unlocked ChalassaxAlthea CG, but the hearts do not fill up to 5/5. They remain at max 4/5.


+Life Channel HP heal predictions are wrong: they are calculated from the max HP of Rowinda (I think). The actual amount healed is correct (was +12HP for each in this case).

Oh lol I thought there was a quest left to do that I had missed out on when I couldn't leave for Ninim (like the journey itself was a quest). Now I realize the quest I haven't done is Rowinda's flashback. That build sure was worth the download. Click the exit arrow to see the usual actblock screen :D

I do like the OUR STORY achievement ^^
