Actually using that system it shows up on every Rowinda's spell :(
I'm going to remove it since is even more confusing than before and people will surely ask what damage cap is,etc. I want to release this game next Friday and not spend another week doing updates for such things

In case there needs to be explanation about the damage cap, couldn't it be on one page in the Battle-Help? Then the explanation could be found within the game via the Quick Help button while in Battle without you really having to spend time on testing the functionality with all the skills, just test that the Help button works...

Yes that seems a good place to put it, the problem is that I need to find the actual explanation by Anima (he posted it somewhere in the forum but was months ago ).

Was it this?

Anima_ wrote:The attack/defence magic/magic calculations create a damage multiplier for the base damage. That multiplier is capped. If the lowest possible number from the random element already results in a modifier above the cap you do not get any damage variance. The old prediction simply ignored the cap.

Thanks, though... is a bit complex. I'm unsure if for players would be good enough? I've read it twice, and now is clear for me.

Lol, you could always add two lines to that: "Simple, isn't it? For further questions, pm anima on the forums." :P

Seems a good solution to me!
No jokes apart, after reading it twice it seems good. But since I'm already done uploading won't add on this version.

I broke it :D.

Now I'm on day 33 and cannot get into bath room heart location anymore. I already had romanced Chalassa (but did not defeat who shall not be named yet) and did 2 actions with Rowinda in the bath house. I can sleep normally but every time I click on the heart the game crashes.

Code: Select all

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

The problem seems to be that one character (Chalassa) is missing from the party, is that true? It might be a very special case in which you went to deceit (so Chalassa was put out of party) but then went away, and probably I forgot to re-add her. Once you defeat him it should work. Maybe send me the save so I can be sure :)
