today coded one of the most dramatic scenes of the whole game. I won't say anything more, because would spoil the fun

You forgot the (TM). "Soon (TM)"

In other news, that's what happens if you "win" the minigame (manage to gather 60 wood + 60 stone in time). The palisade gives a 20% defense bonus (which is quite good) in the final series of battles. I'm thinking that in Nightmare mode should be almost "required" to win the game to win the final part.
Though the final part also changes based on a decision of Shea, so you can play those fights in 2 different ways (of very different difficulty).
Well, if all goes well in a month or two you'll see what I'm talking about :)

So Shea is responsible to rebuild Nimin while Althea wanders in the spirit realm?
While I like mudanes themes more than magic themes, I really dont want to rebuild Nimin. Can Shea at least become the leader of it?

Well rebuild and also kick-asses... of some furry creatures :) Shea won't be a "leader" for some plot events happening early in the story but for sure his choices will have a BIG impact on what happens towards the end of the story!

Both are working towards the same goal, just from different angles.
