Hmm then the only other reason must be some of those "clever antiviruses" that automatically delete all .exe, even completely safe ones like mine...! do you have one running maybe ?

That did it! Odd, usually my antivirus isn't so paranoid. Thanks for the help!

Found a typo/grammatical error. Hopefully it'll be okay if I just write the line out since it's out of context and doesn't contain anything important plotwise.

Rowinda: "In any case, none of them's left." Should be "none of them are left" Subject/verb agreement ;p

Not a mistake. That's Rowinda's own creative grammar. :)

Not everybody in the story speaks perfect English. Rowinda's prone to using unusual grammar, and Artas doesn't really know how to formulate sentences in anything else than simple present tense. Even when speaking of the past or future, he'll use present tense. That's intentional, not a mistake.

Playing V 1.0.7.6
Spoiler:
I had two bugs:

- when meeting Jul, Althea asked "Who are you?", Jul answered "You donät know me." So the dialogue started in the first sentences like they never met - although I used her to kill Deceit. Then it is mentioned that Deceit is still alive - 3 sentences later on, he is said to be dead and absorbed by Jul. Somehow this scene has some logical failuers in it I think.

- at the ending. I decided to kill Rowinda, which then jumped into her favorite element by herself. After the assault on Ninim, I got BOTH Endings with Althea and Chalassa. First the one where Chalassa comforts Althea for killing her friend. Then afterwards Althea getting angry at Chalassa for murdering Rowinda in cold blood. Additionally, both sprites where centred in the middle on top of each other and oversized.

- I had an additionall missplaced Chalassa sprite somewhere in the game, I think in the spirit world. But have to search for the scene.

It would be good to have savegames when those bugs happens, otherwise I can't know exactly what went wrong. I think if the saves are from some early version of the base game they might be somehow "wrong", for example in a old save I had, had both the demonfight variable but also Chalassa dead, which can't be (if you have that variable set, means you freed Chalassa).
Spoiler:
Also I checked that scene and it's not Althea who speaks, but Chalassa. Which is fine, since Chalassa WASN'T in the fight in base game so she really doesn't know who Jul is. The lines are:
cha "...who are you?!"
jul "My name's Jul. I think we haven't met before. I'm the new gal in town. Took the throne that Deceit left so carelessly unoccupied."
jul "Oh. That would make me one of the masters of all Bloodskins, I think."

Oh man, my old Linux laptop is slower than Apolimesho amidst a flock of elves... Anyway, started up a game from a win save and progressing verrrrry slowly.. A few observations, maybe some of these are useful :)

Some immersion breaks found so far:
1)
Spoiler:
I started up with a save with Althea Alone so Chas is quite dead. During the council meeting in the beginning Laroneas says:
"I mean, just look at the company they brought with them! A barbarian savage, a notorious trickster, a dangerous lunatic and a demon child!"
Chas's sprite is not visible on the screen, so it could be worse, but still feels weird that L. is telling me to look at her when she's not there.
2)When I go scouting the area around Ninim with Vaelis, only his sprite is visible on the screen, not the companions I chose to go with him and with whom he speaks. Looks rather weird.

3)
Spoiler:
If you visit the ratmen during the gather resources-guest, you still get Althea talking to the ratmen even though she went to spirit world and Shea's the one who stayed. (Playing from Althea's POV is probably causing this)
Other stuff:
-I guess you haven't had time to fix this yet,but as Exizel already reported, Riley still maintains his SP despite alarms (playing on version 1.0.7.7.)
-Is it on purpose that Artas has only 4 Skills? I leveled him up to 25 in the first fight (during scouting) and all the 4 skills were already picked and only passives were available at this point?

About the first thing, I think is correct, since what Laroneas says is the group of people they brought when they came back.
Spoiler:
If Chalassa is alive then the player protests, but it's true even if Chalassa is dead, because she was still there when they first arrived to Ninim.
I can easily change this though, if others thinks is immersion breaking. Was thinking something like this:
Spoiler:

Code: Select all

tan "I mean, just look at the company they brought with them! A barbarian savage, a notorious trickster, a dangerous lunatic and a demon-child!"
    if chalassa_safe:
        # if Chalassa's still alive
show i_chalassa sad at c5p5 with dissolve
        pl "Chalassa's NOT a demon-child!"
        vae "Ssh!"
    else:
show i_chalassa sad at c5p5 with dissolve
pl "Chalassa is not with us anymore..."
        vae "Ssh!"
About 2, is just a coincidence. On each location, depending who you picked, shows another character. In the dark wizard cabal shows Jariel & Chalassa. In place where Dingirran camp was, shows Krimm, Riley, Artas. And so on. So definitely doesn't always show only Vaelis! :)

About 3 you're right instead, need to show only Shea

About the Riley's SP... I already added the code, but it was in the wrong place

And yes, Artas has only 4 skills. Since he is played only through the DLC, I thought wasn't worth having all skills since you couldn't level a lot. Besides, I didn't WANT to code again 12 different skills for a character used just for a DLC with so few fights like this one  He is still quite powerful with high attributes though!
