Nevermind I think I figured it out. It was different scene from the others. Now I think is OK, you need to load a save BEFORE the scene starts for it to work though!

Didn't work with my current save. I even started a new game and it still gets stuck at same point.

OK, Chapter 17, during the sunken ship quest, no matter what I do, the number of pirates (24) doesn't decrease. It always remains at 24 whether I close in or keep distance over and over.

In the Shacklepit quest "Sunken Ship" ,there's a brilliant (and fun) portion where you're fighting pirates.

Keep distance and bombard them with magic, and cannons, or sail up close and attack them in melee.
No matter what I choose to do here, their numbers remain the same, at 24. So far I've not been able to get past this area in VN mode

:) That said? It felt absolutely fantastic to play this again, the music, the stories, I'm starting to remember why I called this my favourite Winterwolves game of all time (Even though I love many of the games)

Ahh yes haha if you don't do fights the pirate amount will never go down, true :lol:
Can I have a save at the beginning of the fight? So I can fix this too for VN Mode :)

Haha thanks. I think this VN Mode thing might make this game more popular even between people who originally didn't like it :)
