More aliens redone in this new art-style, the Apex Rahn:

we're doing several others, since they'll be present in some scenes and also as "cards" / units in the gameplay part

waah...the artist took such an ugly creature and made it...Handsome?/beautiful?/good looking?, I don't know which word I should be using XD so I'll just say the art is great.
it makes me wonder how the PS cast would look like if they were redrawn in this art-style.

Probably better and MUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCHHHHHH faster (the other artist has STILL TO FINISH art after FOUR YEARS).
I'm going to see how people* react to this kind of art, and then I might really discard the existing PS2 art and redo it in this style. Would be thousands of $ wasted, but I don't mind if people really like it more

* people=general public, press, Steam, etc. Especially in press many people hate manga art.

I love this art-style

To be honest I would also be curious to see how the existing PS1 characters would look in this style... in particular Rebecca & Michelle

I don't know what word I would use for it as well, but I admit, I feel fortunate that I can get a sneak peek at some of the art finished.

And it is very telling when paired side-by-side with the older art.

Also, some of the new aliens/creatures will be brand new as well, and I think you will like them as well

I don't care for plastic surgery but for Apex Rahn it did wonders. Or is it just a make-over?

another alien done in the two different styles, the Marada soldier. I'm going to use Manga / Realistic, since "old" and "new" seems like I despise the original game art which is definitely not the case

Seems as if in the more realistic version the marada have smaller eyes and bigger cannons. Now why does a certain Hellsing Abridged quote come to mind...
