The game art poll!

So while I didn't redo the character art (I am not sure I'll do it yet, still thinking about it) I used another artist for the romance CGs. I posted a preview on the newsletter so I can repost it even here:

I'm necro-posting this thread because we're making good progress with the game. I wanted to know people's opinion about redoing the characters with a style like the Hazel game, since it seems (at least from KS comments) that many people like that art style. Of course NOT the CG - those are already assigned to that other artist above and I think are very good

The new art is much better than the one shown in the 1st page of this thread.

Cool, just to be clear I refer only to the character art, not the romance CG (which is done yet by another artist haha).

If the art assets are already finished, I would be hesitant with spending money and prolonging development time to change the art, especially if opinion is evenly divided.

Indeed I'm not sure, but since this artist is the same as Volleyball Heaven, and (Lana aside ) the characte art is the only major complaint of that game... mumble mumble

In my opinion, the art in the cg preview is much better than both the original and Hazel one. I just find the Hazel one different but not necessarily an improvement.

Well yes but the CG art is only for the CG, since doing a whole game like that would be insanely expensive (and also would take another 7-8 months to finish)

I've decided to redo the character art with a "new artist", and soon I'll post the results, but already from the first sketches it seems was a good choice
