Dasyra's personal quest sets my Hammerhands reputation at 75, which coupled with Merchant is enough to once again profit from buy/sell.

that's not what I meant: It is possible that an already dead char can get the effect. mostly it looks weird, it is not something that breaks any of the mechanics.

mostly it irritates me that improving the skill makes it worse in one aspect - that's a completely new feature no other skill (afaik) has.

a few ideas (all untested, too lazy to mod your game : ))

- keep the SP cost and SP damage, but use for all skill levels one static value for HP damage and delay (maybe 100% and 15? identical to a melee attack)
- keep the SP cost and SP damage, but make it a fast attack and lower the damage (maybe 12 delay like many other special melee attacks and a damage of 33%, 66%, 100% for the 3 skill levels)

more crazy variants
- make it slow and powerful (I used chains, the other SP burning skill, as model):
lvl 1 - SP cost 3, SP damage 4, delay 30, HP damage 100%
lvl 2 - SP cost 3, SP damage 6, delay 30, HP damage 125%
lvl 3 - SP cost 3, SP damage 8, delay 30, HP damage 150%
- make it fast. I mean FAST
lvl 1 - SP cost 1, SP damage 1, delay 10, HP damage 50%
lvl 3 - SP cost 1, SP damage 1, delay 8, HP damage 50%
lvl 3 - SP cost 1, SP damage 1, delay 6, HP damage 50%

the first two ideas are in line with other skills (solid but nothing to write home about), the latter two make it rather unique. personally I think the 4th one could be fun - only pinpricks, but thousands of them : )

The quest? no should show up only one entry in the quest book! You need to do several missions before you can fight it though.
edit: I think you mean the menu option while in Docks? Yes maybe I'll change it to "Hunt the Kraken" since until you explore all areas you can't fight it.

No, I mean, I just fought the Kraken for the second time. The first time was with cannons, the second time I didn't get any cannons. I got the same loot and the quest completed again.

Ah OK then definitely a bug :lol: in theory though you should be able to try it again? if the quest doesn't clear correctly it should behave like that.
