I know but otherwise would be too easy. With that framework party vs one boss battle are always hard to make right :) Especially when paralyze/stun is involved!!

"into the fray" is an unique skill I forgot way too often - but there is no incentive to invest more than one point: a slow attack with normal damage is not exactly sexy with all the other possibilities to invest 2 skill points. maybe something like this would make higher levels more interesting: instead of increasing the damage lower the delay. novice would be identical (50% dmg, 12 delay), journeyman again 50% dmg but a delay of 9 and expert would need a time of only 6.

Yes making faster would be more interesting, since you could hit the target or maybe heal / use potion shortly after. I'll do that :)

"ice shard" is the only elemental damage spell with a delay of 10, the 3 other analogous skills use only a timer of 8. was this overlooked or is it the result of balancing?

Yes because ice shards beside damaging also slows the target (and has some weight in the battle), so I thought to balance it that way.

when using the shop after the catacombs are solved it is possible to select and get a set even when not enough honour points are available. (sorry for this collateral bug of my feature request)

Took a while to understand what you mean. Yes if you go there and click finish it will exit and add the items. Time to fix it :)

the post-encounter XP value is displayed incorrectly when not all PCs were part of the combat (e.g. duels or a few of the endgame fights): the +XP is displayed for all chars but actually only added to the combatants

one of the military rooms with the undead mercs had a text with something like "<char> starts weak and has 0 SP" (or similar, no save available and no rollback possible) but all my PCs have full SP in the encounter (I chose Thalia at the selection before, maybe this helps to find the issue)

log says (e.g.)

- Kira hit Merc for 8 dmg using melee

- Merc countered attack and caused 6 dmg



but the only red blob displayed is the 8 dmg on Kira - it should be two blobs: 8 on the Merc, 6 on Kira

Joking, if it's a bug I'll fix for sure, if it's a feature depends on how hard is to do, since I want to release it next month :)

Magic Sparks: I think the description is wrongish, "the enemies on the sides take 50% of the damage" feels more like normal dmg on expert level.



my example are foes with 17/16/17 armour w/o debuffs (should be comparable), sparks would deal 14/16/14 dmg, magic bolt (as baseline) 13 for each enemy



imo not a balancing problem (imo sparks are fine) but you should correct the description.

Originally was really 50% damage but then probably with the 319083201 tweaks I did, somehow the magic damage is the same. To avoid confusions I will make hit 3 characters but not be AOE (do same damage). Will reduce slightly the damage to balance it. The damage is different anyway, since for example on three targets with armor: 18/20/16 was doing 10/11/12 dmg (the one in the center even with higher armor was still getting more damage).

But I can see how this is confusing, so better say she does same amount of damage, probably 50%/75%/100%

hmm, not happy with this decision. the only area in which the mage has currently the best skill (damage and speed-wise) is multi-target attacks.

sometimes the party screen icon in the right upper edge vanishes when doing robberies - no idea about the trigger. when you're interested I could send you two saves: one with the knob, one without; both in military houses

It's still very powerful, remember that destroys targets buffs. So counterattacks, etc.

Yes sure send me both saves for party icon and the SP bug.

Without SP is harsh but you can use potions :wink:

Just saw that Throwing Knives is still the lone outlier using "Row" as area - I thought you wanted to change this to AoE as Row does not really make sense in the current system?



But something different, mostly directed at other beta players: Has anyone used elemental resistances? The more or less only situation those could be useful are the four sealed rooms down in the catacombs with the three elementals of one type. But it was too much hassle to reequip and very much not needed with normal difficulty.

For elemental I don't think any player would need to change the outfit on purpose, especially for randomized missions. As you say could be useful in some point in the catacombs but it's probably too much hassle :)

afaik Strike Through deals the same damage for all targets and is an AoE skill. same with quite a few buff skills: AoE but the same benefit for all affected (Hold The Line, Magic Shield, Rally)
