Anymore news on this game?

Nope, sorry... the writer had some problems, so I very likely will need to find another one (have already some candidates). The problem is that now I'm so busy finishing Loren that I can't even take some time to coordinate the other games (beside Heileen 3, Amber's Magic Shop). The artist also delayed the final CGs, so before going on I want to be sure to have at least all the art needed. Sometimes such delay happens unfortunately.

Seems like the artist heard you - he just emailed me all the final CG scenes today, and said he would be done with them this month 8)

Wow! The power of positive thinking :) Thank you artist! Can't wait to see all the characters in colour and sneak preview of the endings :) Thank Jack! You and your team are the best!!

I have all the characters in color already, but I think I posted some of them only on twitter. Once Roommates is at good point will make some sneak peek blog posts too :)

Ok cool sounds good to me. I guess I'm going to have to go on Twitter soon It's just I don't have much time so this is perfect for me. see if anything new is up and read what I find important :)

Each character has four different romance options, and if you're gay or bi, you'll be glad to see that this game is going to continue Winter Wolves' welcome tradition of including romantic possibilities for both preferences as well as heterosexuals. Winter Wolves always delivers incredibly gorgeous and professional looking titles, and while this one might be far away in the future, if you're a fan of the genre, much like cutie marks, you'll probably have to say, "But ah want it naaaaaooow!" In the meantime, why not check out Loren the Amazon Princess or Winter in Fairbrook?

Some of the secondary characters. A good variety as you can see! The one on the left is Chad and will be sort of antagonist of Max. Some really funny scenes have been already written featuring him :mrgreen:

Who are the others though? So, we have Chad who is Max's rival, and you tweeted that the redhead was to play nemesis to Anne, what about the other characters?

We have yet to decide their role in the story :mrgreen: been talking to the writer to add some characters and we decided the appearance and personalities but didn't even give them a name yet!

Respectively where the redhead and the super-muscular guy are rivals to Anne and Max respectively, maybe the two other characters could be closer friends of the protagonists?



Say, the raven-haired girl could be an old friend of Max's from high school and the shorter character could be a child prodigy who Anne used to babysit( :lol: )/or be friends with from say, piano lessons and had a crush on her or something.

The short character plays a role already in the halloween event (which is very big) but we didn't introduce him yet (is just a small appearance). But your suggestions surely are interesting :)

Y'know, I'm rather curious how the whole "roomate" concept works.



Will our protagonist (either Max or Anne) actually share a room with one of the other characters or do they all just live in the same building in single rooms?

They all live in a house on campus :) But each character has his/her own room. I think will be the most fun game I've ever made, whenever I read the new scenes from the writer I laugh loudly in front of the monitor :mrgreen:

It's kind of a "successor" to my first dating sim, Summer Session, which is now 4 years old!

And I had to tell him several times to make the scenes SHORTER :lol:

Also while the game is light comedy, so much easier to write (I think, not sure, correct me if I'm wrong) than a epic tale like Loren, there's really no "filler text", I think is very well written. I only know I never laughed so much reading a script before.

Plugging along. This week I'm working on Valentine's day. Hopefully it'll be fun, I'm trying to work in all possible reactions, for variety's sake. And just in case the players decide to do something humorous :)



Always nice to reward players who decide to muck about.



annnnyway, nose back to the ol' grindstone.
