something's wrong with the advanced survivor kit (and mybe other sets)



description:

Basic [sic!] survivor set, consisting of 2 medium healing potion (each potion will heal 60HP), 1 medium energy potion (each potion will give 5SP), 1 medium restoration potion (restores KO character with 40% of total HP) and 1 medium explosive bomb (deals 30dmg and bleeding).



content:

0 medium health (60 HP), 3 medium vitality (4 SP), 1 medium restauration (40 %), 1 medium bomb (20-25 dmg)



I don't mind the slightly off values and names in the description, but vitality instead of health is a difference : )

Yes both the survivor had double the Vitality ones :lol: was a copy-paste bug. The others seems fine though :)

The cultists can perform Raise Dead while debuffed with Chained - bug or feature?

Would it be possible to let the "honour shop" in the catacombs available? At the end a few points are still available and it would be nice to exchange them into stuff.

After you beat them you mean? yes I could try to do that. You need to send me a save when the catacombs are finished though (I tested them but played an old version that cannot load correctly anymore) :)

maybe you should rewrite one of the guy-in-a-cage cellar rooms: it was established that Kira (and her sisters) are not able to spend money for non-necessities, and still Kira is the one offering gold ("you will need money") to the ex-gardener.

I think there are other parts of the story in which the sister can offer gold, so probably would be easier to just change that single Mary-Ann scene you mention. But I'll wait to see if there are more people agreeing with you (I need to review that scene myself, had no time today) or if it's just nit-picking :wink:.

the only other scene I remember are the ghost demanding money - but that's more extortion and less a voluntary donation (don't know about the military mansions, though).



and sure, it _is_ nit-picking. but I laughed out loud when seeing that Kira offered money after Thee Forsaken One explained why her personality makes it impossible to offer help for starving* Moirgane : P

Well I reviewed the texts, and it's obvious that it's Moirgane that doesn't want help, after the choices, when Kira tries to say something she stops her:
moirgane "We still have some things spare so we won’t starve but it will be a tight week."

kira "I could—"

moirgane "No. I won’t accept anything from you. Our family owe enough."

so it's not like Kira isn't offering, but Moirgane is a proud person and doesn't want anything from anyone anymore. I think that scene is fine. YOU'RE NITPICKING!!!!!! :twisted:

this is not the point and happens long(ish) after the scene I criticize: Not one of the (player-selectable) replies address the food issue

I added buying catacombs after they're done and the buy/sell vendor bonus exploit. However I don't think will manage to do the update now, since I want also to:

- add the Therjalla mushrooms miniscene

- change the Evil Eye texts so even if you lose, it's not the end of the world :)

- do the main menu (I have the art but want to design a good logo and also add some nice effects)

- randomize the Mercenaries random encounters more, since in that area you stumble into guards more often, I want to mix the enemies more to make it more varied

Probably Monday or Tuesday will be the update then :)

And also the update. See first post for the HUGE changelog (biggest update I've ever done to this game so far).

I am thinking to try varying the random encounters in the mercenary room on next update, and also fix any other possible new bugs, but I think we're on track for a mid/end of September official release :)

[but it's rather easy to cast the naggers out: @yayswords is much less active compared to SotW because of the simplified encounter system (not enough tactical and strategical options) - I would not harass you again if you simply stop making RPGs : D]

You don't need to apologize at all, since you found a lot of bugs that would have caused headache later (maybe on Steam release, and not all Steam users are very polite... :lol:). So thank you instead!

Yes this game is simplified vs SOTW but I made it on purpose. In future RPGs will experiment again, though none will be as long/complex as SOTW again, that's sure (not worth it for me sadly).
