I was checking the progresses made by Aleema this month on writing and found that... she added a CODEX for PS2!

are you happy now ????

(talking to those users who were asking for a codex already for Loren)
Jokes apart I must say that looks very cool. Right now there's not much but will be filled as the development goes on.

Yay!, It looks great, I really like having these in games.

The interface is not only sleek and clean, but also eye-catching. Overall it's a huge improvement. The next to last sentence in the description sets off a grammar flag in my mind however. The phrase "if not a bit manipulative" feels incongruent with the earlier part of the sentence. Instead I'd recommend phrasing it: They are commonly considered to be one of the most intelligent, if not one of the most manipulative, of the Alien Empires.

Thanks, I think the texts are just temporary though - didn't ask her since she is in full-immersion with Bionic Heart 2

The writing in the codex right now is not mine - it's the artist's, from what I understand. When she designed the aliens, she also wrote a spiel about them. I am using them as placeholders until I can write up more about them.

I expect the Marada page will be a lot longer.

maybe we will finally know the name of the colony, because "Colony of Planet Stronghold" is not really a name

It's called Zero One by the military. Other colonies are subsequently called Zero Two, etc. Sectors of the colony are named after famous defenders, so there's an area called the Nelson District that the PC will share a name with, because of their famous lineage.

Is the Marada Race a female only race ?

No. But they operate like ants, which are primarily female until they need a male.

The Marada have one of the more interesting and unique alien societies, and Queen Shiler was one of the more memorable characters from the original game even if her artwork is probably the least appealling of the potential B-G romances. I look forward to reading the expanded Marada page once it's completed.

Why you say that, I find Shiler quite attractive...

Me too, which is why I was disappointed when I found out she was a BxG option only, I wanted to romance Shiler or one of her race with Lisa

I could definitely imagine Shiler being bisex or pansexual but... time/money constraits! maybe will do a DLC with some extra stuff later

I know you can't make any promises, so no worries if it's not possible for any number of reasons. but if you can ever squeeze it in, I would buy the heck out of that DLC.

Her ears remind me too much of big, leathery Ferengi ears, and I don't find those to be the least bit attractive. If I'm mistaken and that's just her hair I'd breathe a sigh of relief, but I don't think I'm mistaken. Maradan breasts also look weird to my eye, like perfectly circular implants without nipples that were attached with an ice cream scooper. Then there are the red eyes which aren't a match for Rebecca's almond-shaped gray's or Laka's huge lambent green's.
