Is this the same artist or a different one? It looks like the same, but he/she definitly improved a lot. Not sayin the old coloring was badk, but this one is really...

Also I love the outfit. It still gives of the 'you are trying to mess with a mighty gladiator' feeling, but at the same time it has something more... I dunno. Elegant? Handsome?

It also feels like a 'I'm a gladiator cause I like it and not cause I was forced into it' feeling. The old one was a typical 'classic' gladiator type, but this one... I love. And are that green armor parts? *0*

Even with Rei cheating, Mesphit has it hands down...

Aaaand now I'm going to have even more trouble choosing between them dang. Out of curiosity, do Rei and Mesphit have an established relationship in the second game? Or is that something you leave up to the player? From what I remember there were slight variations in the endings in regards to their prejudices towards each other, based on the player's actions. I could be misremembering though.



Anyway, I'm excited to...see more of the both of them
