Heileen on Xbox and iPhone

I’m currently working on getting the first game Heileen to work on xBox Indie Games and iPhone. I just started the port to XNA and is coming out nicely even if I’m just at the beginning 🙂 I haven’t started looking ath the iphone yet because there’s an additional problem on that platform: the screen size, which is really small. So I’ll probably have to find a VERY SMALL font, and resize everything to fit the smaller screen. Sigh if at least was 4:3 ratio, but instead has a weird resolution of 480×320… 🙁

Anyway my goal is to keep working fulltime with Renpy and the Pc/Mac/Linux platform and in spare time go on with those other ports, since I’m dubious simple VNs can do well in those market dominated by young male players 😉

Heileen 2: some screens and info

Time for some WIP screens for Heileen 2. In the first one you see the “Card Selection” menu. Every night, you’ll be able to retire in your private place and dream using one of the 7 cards.

The second screen shows the interactive map of the Island. You can move in several locations and solve quests in a non-linear way. I decided to switch from a more traditional (linear) gameplay, to this new system after all the positive comments I got about my other game Bionic Heart. I’ll also put several endings even on Heileen 2 even if I’m not sure yet how many there will be. At the moment, I have 10 planned for sure, maybe more in the final release!

Bionic Heart released!

I’m very proud to announce that finally Bionic Heart is ready! You can click the images above to get directly to the game download page. It was a long journey to add all the voices but I’m sure that you’ll agree with me that adds a lot to the game’s atmosphere. I’m also very pleased about how the game turned out, since it has many plot twists, and a really dynamic structure. The 24 endings you’ll have to unlock are quite different from each other, and they vary from dark, oppressive endings to the classic “happy endings”, to the more “what will happen next” ones (which are my favourites).

In particular, one of the endings I consider it to be the “true” one. I won’t say which one it is, but relates to a planet very close to Earth…

That’s all, go enjoy the game now! 🙂

The flower girls

The four cute ladies you see below are the main female characters of my upcoming game The Flower Shop.

From left to right: Jill, the main character current girlfriend, Susana the flower shop girl, Clara the neighbour’s daughter and Marian who runs the local library. Of course there are also other characters in the game, but I wanted to show those 4 since are ready 🙂
